A range of colours
Foil is often used on premium print print items, like invitations, business cards, reports and letterheads to achieve a product that stands out. Starting with the traditional gold, silver and rose gold foils, the range has expanded greatly to include over 40 different shiny coloured foils!
There are a number of different effects you can use with foil. You can choose to
- raise it (emboss)
- sink it (deboss), or
- leave it as flat foil
Each type of effect gives a different impression to your end product. Embossing can often quite expensive, so using digital raised foil can achieve a similar effect as a more affordable price.
This is not the usual shiny foil, but more of a matt foil. in a limited range of colours

It’s made in the same way as metallic foils but includes an embossed pattern that diffracts the light and shows the colours of the spectrum at different angles. These foils come in a number of colours and patterns.
