RGB is an onscreen colour – for computers, phones and any other screens. It is vibrant, but there is a whole range of colours in the RGB range (gamut) that are impossible to reproduce in print. We print in CMYK (you will have seen these colours on the cartridges in your own office printer). CMYK has a different gamut to RGB, so what you see on screen will not match the final printed product. However, by setting your artwork up in CMYK (not RGB, Hex, LAB, PMS or any other format) you will get the closest results to what you see on screen.

CMYK is also referred to as full colour, or four colour printing. The vast majority of printing done by most printers is in CMYK.
